Van is still in the shop for a leaking front tranny pump. Supposed to be ready early this week, & we are leaving for Utah as soon as I can pack it up. I think it's time to buy a scangauge2, so where do I find the parameters to enter for the other three-
coolant temp, oil temp and transmission temp?

SG2 already has coolant temp defined. Here are the others:

Trans Fluid Temp ( ˚ F) TXD: 10F1229110 RXF: C46205913610 RXD: 3010 MTH: 000100400000 Engine Oil Temp ( ˚ F) TXD: 10F121E8 RXF: C32100000000 RXD: 3008 MTH: 00090005FFAD

SG3 already has all these defined. But it's a bigger unit that would not fit where I wanted to put it.

One nice feature about the SG3 is you can set alarms for these readings. Easy to keep your eye on SG2 readings if climbing a hill, not so easy on a long drive.

Slightly off topic but…
My SG2 became almost impossible to read (backlight problem?) and finally just stopped working. On a chance I contacted them (email to service). My SG is 6 or 7 years old and I have long ago lost any proof of purchase but I use it daily to monitor water temp, volts, trans temp. I told them my problem and asked it it could be fixed and to my surprise they said to send it back to them and they would repair it for free! $6 postage and 2 weeks later it came back good as new. I have no idea what they did but it was in the original case and all the settings worked.
That’s pretty good customer service!
