Wow no cardboard down on that nice concrete! why did they use RED loctite geezers! did u need to heat them to break the bolts loose?
I used a breaker bar and a floor jack to break them loose, multiple up down with the jack.

I had cardboard....but it would slip when i need to really tourqe down on it....between my son and i we broke those suckers loose.....but in all is is an easy install...

I just sheared the bleeder screw off in the rear trying to bleed. It's ridiculous for a bleeder screw to be that tight. I'll try and cut a slot in it to remove now, otherwise it doesn't get bled.

I just checked the front pads on my 2016 with 26,000 miles. They were at 11 mm, which surprised me (I expected them to be more worn). Does anybody know the thickness of new pads? The service manual says replace at 1mm, which seems a little too close for comfort for me.

I have a 2015 PM 1500 136wb 3.6v6 with 104,000 miles in the granite state New Hampshire. I purchased the pm with14,000 miles from rental company and just resently i need to replace the front brake pads.

I am amazed at how long the pads have lasted, asuming they are the originals. My driving consist of more highway than city driving. At about 80,000 miles i started hearing the brake squeel from the rear pads. After having the dealer look at them they just needed adjustments at no cost.

To my surprise, front brake pads at Autozone are $144 for instock basic pads. I bought the more premium one from them for $82 which would take about a day to ship. After talking to dealer service man he convinced me to purchase the mopar ones which are reasonably priced, since I had good luck with them but also recommended replacing the front rotors as well.

Not because I am cheap but, I have been busy so I drove a couple thousands of miles with the pads worn down they have worked alright.

I just replaced my front pads.......85K out of the originals. The hex sizes for the calipers were 6mm and then 14mm✌
