Nice design. These should be quite easy to replicate by any decent metal fabrication shop for much less than 1800$. They look to be symetrical too.

 

For $1800 they must be made from golden unobtanium😜

 

in order to get the brackets you have to buy the whole thing, the $148 price is a misprint it's actually $1488

a fab shop could make the brackets cheaper, post 1 just gives the fab shop a visual

 

Hello! Any update on this thread? I'm needing the same thing. I found a rack made for a Sprinter on FB Marketplace I'd like to adapt to my PM. The company that makes the rack above in your pics won't sell adapter plates due to "liability" concerns. Your pics are pretty detailed though. Any forward movement on your search?

I don't think any one is making them for the Promaster. However a guy on the Transit forum wanted some for his Transit van so he made some, found others were interested so he sells them on etsy.

Any idea what material these are? Steel? Aluminum?
My guess will be steel because of the loads involved.

The ones on Etsy are powered coated stainless steel.
