When I turn on the van, a dash note says to service brake pads (or something to that effect). And the little red brake light stays on (parking brake not engaged of course). Took it to Brakes Plus, they changed the oil, replaced a CV axle, but said the brake pads are fine and rotors look fine. They also looked it up on their computer and told me my van does not have sensors for the brake pads.
So... why does this message even exist if there is no sensor, and why is it coming up now? And how to get rid of it? Or I could just live with it like I live with the low tire pressure light.
