This was interesting. I had dish come out to my house and he arrived in a 1500 promaster. He saw mine which is a 3500 and asked if I only get 5k out of the front tires. He claimed to be on the third set on his in only 11000 miles and they even looked pretty worn. I have 20k on mine now and have more than half the life left on them. Kicking around the difference in the vans we kinda figured out that his 1500 being packed with everything needed on his jobsites must be overweighing the rear axle causing the front tires to slip. Just thinking this might of interest to those who are buying the 1500 to convert to a camper. Don't get to heavy. '
btw, he said the entire fleet has the same problem.
