Hello!
Ive been using a Goal Zero 1500x unit and have been relatively happy with it. This weekend a friend of mine who's also got one, noticed that im charging slower than what he would expect via a rear 12v Goal Zero cigarette adapter.
We decided to do a little test and moved my set up (goal zero and charger adapter) to his car (2011 Honda Element) and saw ~110-120watts of charging, whereas my 2021 Promaster is getting 60watts. Same set up, different vehicle.
Wondering if anyone else has seen this, and maybe has any insight into what might be happening. I contacted Goal Zero and they mentioned
Please dont post telling me i should have gotten a custom battery set up (I know this is often what these threads end up being), i have my reasons for going with the GoalZero.
Thanks!
