If your fans are running at full speed and are really loud, the resistors are bad. Mine sounded like a 747 taking off. Changed out the resistors and now they are back to normal. Easy fix too. Also if you smell coolant and don't see a leak, check your coolant recovery tank. Mine had cracks on the bottom, and it would seep out. Most likely from being hot and cold and being pressurized.
