I've been looking at a few different window shade options for trying to maintain the inside temperature of my van in all seasons. I'm in SW Ontario, so we have winter, but the temperature doesn't dip down to extremes, so a three-season version is probably sufficient. I have only front windows and rear windows to worry about, none on the side cargo areas. Wondering if I could get some opinions:
1. Down by the River - look good and the price is right. Marcy has a higher insulated version that is still rollable.
2. Adventure Van Company - these look great and they are rollable. They can also be kept in place by just rolling them up and tying them with a tie, and leaving them on the windows.
3. Weathertech - not sure how well these maintain temperature as I think they are pretty thin.
4. Sprinter Van Shop - these also look well-made, and well-insulated.
My criteria are:
1) Which is best at insulating
2) Which are easy to store (left hanging, rolled up, comes with a bag for storage, etc)
3) Which fit the best - blocking out light
4) Which will hold up best with the included magnets
Thanks,
J
