I'll be watching this thread closely, since I will also need a ramp if I ever end up with a Promaster and I've been looking at ramps a lot.

There are two basic options. Either a ramp mounted inside the van or one mounted outside. There is an outside ramp on eBay that shows up from time to time. Search on "pivoting cargo loading ramp". It basically attaches to the rear frame/bumper and folds up flat against the back doors when stowed. I like the fact that it doesn't take up any interior room.

The interior ramps take up room inside the cargo area, but they remain clean and dry. LINK is one of the companies that offers interior ramps. Check out

They don't list a US dealer, but I have come across this type of ramp before from a US dealer, but I can't seem to find the link right now. If I come across it in the future I'll update this thread.

The weight rating is deceptive as it is for a "spread out" weight across the ramp. You are not going to put a 1200lb load on a dolly & be-bop down the ramp. For heavy loads, simply cut a 4x4 & stuff it under the middle hinge for support if you are trying to move something stupid heavy.
