I just recently bought a 2022 3500-Promaster Van that has it's speed limit set to 70 mph. It was going to be an Amazon delivery van. When I got home, I called the dealer (Merchants in NH) and they said that any Ram dealer could remove the limit. It was set by the factory, I know because it was on the window sticker, under the Amazon package. It is dealer settable to 65, 70, or 75. I took it to three Ram dealers locally and said they've never seen it, and there's nothing they can do about it. I don't want to travel at 70 mph, but in highway driving it's dangerous to try to pass someone, or in heavy traffic when your the slowest one on the road at 70mph. I just want to know if someone else has come across this problem, and if so what did you do to resolve it. Thanks.

I find this thread interesting.
Not as much for the speed limit ( albeit that is interesting ), but for what might be a very slight indication of a “Canary in The Coal Mine”.
Is it normal for Amazon to not take delivery of Promaster Vans they have made a “deal” on?
We have a new(ish) Amazon distribution center @ the airport & lately I see lots of delivery vans with “Boxes” vinyl graphics on the outside walls. “Boxes” is Uhaul maybe 🤷♂️?
