Harbor Freight sells a receiver mounted hitch mounting plate. It works with all the hitches that they sell. So, if you have the receiver in the back that is frame rail attached, you should be good to go.

Synthetic winch rope, such as the Amsteel Blue is for sure the way to go. You can make your own splices and so on with this rope and the strength, especially the strength / weight is exceptional.
