I have been trying to figure out a way to fill my fresh water tank from outside without a visible water fill port and this is the best idea I have at the moment.

I think it would be possible to install this bulkhead fitting...

Through this hole under the lower hinge in the rear door and through the rear panel (I will need to remove most of the flange and enlarge the opening to fit the stainless bulkhead fitting)

into the van to fill this tank.I will use a flush hex nut to cap the fill port so it will clear the hinge when the door is closed.
