I have a 2014 promaster 2500 and have currently been doing some research into finding a wiring harness to install a aftermarket radio. I have had no luck at all finding anything. The van has the base model radio since i see that the ones offered from dodge are junk and way over priced. I also do now really want to have to cut into the stock harness to wire in the new radio but will if that is my only option. If anyone has any info on this please let me know

Would you post up a link to the harness that you found and worked for yours.
I want to swap out the head unit too.
thanks.

I may be wrong but I think you just use the VW adapter to your new head end. It's nothing special you can get them at Walmart I think for about $10! The Sprinter is the same way.

I order the Crutchfield system for my PM 2500

The kit arrived with a Pioneer DEH-X5700HD and the required wiring kit. The new radio is great, The adapter fit well and after I soldered and heat shirked the wiring the dash kit went well. The instructions in the radio dash kit are just terrible and you need to take a minute to look at the picture to figure the system out but it did fit and make the system look like it belongs in the dash.
The nice thing for me was I place my log book in the holder just above the original radio. With it sticking out the radio was hard to see. The new kit moves the radio down one location and makes the radio much easier to see and use.

The sound is so much better, now I will look into the rear speaker installation.

Crutchfield did the trick for me.:)

I've always found www.crutchfield.com to be the first people to offer something like that. They are really good, knowledgable people, with all the parts needed to modify any vehicle.
