I'm looking to add a slider or vented window to the passenger side on the sliding door. Is this a good idea? Someone alerted me to the ease at which a person might be able to break the slider/vented portion of the window and slide their hand right in to open the door. Has anyone heard of this happening with these windows? Are there other precautions or are some window types better than others?
I see these window types installed quite a bit so I'm hoping its ok.

Also, which windows are best? Currently looking at the motion windows and CRL windows.

Thanks

Both Motion and CRL are good windows. I’d suggest an awning window or partial awning as you can then leave it open in rain. This is not a small consideration if you travel where rain is common. As for safety any window can be broken with a rock so why wouldn’t they break the driver’s side triangular window first?
