No the wheel wells would be a problem.Assuming I have a sufficiently strong ramp - would a Smart Car fit in the back of a PM ??
I believe the Smart Car is 65.5 inches wide (not sure if that includes mirrors).
I just measured mine and it is 61 and some change just above the floor. I'm sure it gets narrower higher up.The PM has a door width of 54".
Your right, Ram doesn't put all the spec's on one page that I can find, such as door and wheel well width.I just measured mine and it is 61 and some change just above the floor. I'm sure it gets narrower higher up.
this is probably the most complete that they provide:Your right, Ram doesn't put all the spec's on one page that I can find, such as door and wheel well width.
RD, you beat me! Somewhere out there on the WWW there's a BMW Isetta in a Promaster.... easy to get in and out because the door is in the front.
I expect you may be able to get two of them in an extended ProMaster.RD, you beat me! Somewhere out there on the WWW there's a BMW Isetta in a Promaster.... easy to get in and out because the door is in the front.
Even if you got it through the doors and over some ramps over the wheel wells, you might hit the ceiling doing it. The wheel wells are about 17" high. I guess the extra tall European Ducato is an option.Maybe. It might fit over the wheel wells if you drove it onto a platform. The Fortwo is 65.5 W (with mirrors) x 61.25 tall.
