Hi all! I was looking at Promaster photos and I noticed that on some vehicles, there is a black, plastic-looking box on the roof over the driver's seat.

What is this for? Is it just an entry point in case you want to mount something on the roof? What do people usually use it for?

On mine it is the GPS antennae. Mine didn't come with sat radio.

On mine it is an unused antenna. Mine didn't come with either a GPS or sat radio. But, I've got an antenna . . . guess there must be a hole there and they had to fill it with something.

Sorry, but NO it’s not a GPS antenna it’s for satellite radio. Probably just a plastic cover to hide a hole as Winston suggests

Ah of course.

That's unfortunate though. Sat radio is something I could live without. I pay enough for streaming services as it is.

I wonder if I could replace it with a little cell booster antenna...

Amen - - for the plethora of monthly charges for everything . . . can't even buy software anymore, have to rent it!

Let us know if you come up with some form of cell booster for that 'hole' - - that is something we'd like to add.
