Hello everyone,
I’m trying to install my Webasto AT2000 STC into my van. Having difficulties figuring out how to tap into the fuel tank. The fuel tap I received with the Webasto is for drilling a new hole into the tank. Which I’d rather not do. Also in the workshop manual it states that you should not drill a plastic tank.
So it seems this fuel tap is not for me. The other option I have is to put a T in the fuel line and run it from there. If I do this I’m unsure of where I should add the T in order to still have fuel flow to the Webasto.
I would much rather be able to use the existing fuel tap spot that is accessed from inside the van(in between seats)
If anyone has any tips or ideas they would be greatly appreciated!! The company I bought the Webasto from has not been helpful.
Thanks!

This has been covered before and you can search for it. You will need a 90º adapter. There are several available. Search. The correct tap is shown in the picture below from my Diesel van at the end of the screwdriver.
