Is there such thing?

I have a number of USB ports and though each one is a small draw, they add up to 0.1A, therefore 2.4AH per day. I'd like to lower that number if I can.

Edit: I just learned that it's the ports themselves using the power. Guess I'll have to live with it and maybe convince LOML we don't need so many.

I know you can't and don't like to be in the sun but even a small 50-80 watt solar panel and a PWM controller totaling aout $100 would solve this problem- even in the shade! If you were willing you could deploy it on a cord 50-100 feet away from the van. I have friends that do that with a 100 watt panel. Solar is more fun than a barrel of monkeys! Come over to the Bright side, we have cookies!

This has a simple fix. Just wire in a small on/off switch right next to the USB outlet. That way the annoying little lights go out, and the phantom draw disappears.

Also, if you do pick USB's with a light, try to make it a red light instead on blue, white, etc. Red light tends to be less annoying and does not affect your night vision as other LEDs may.
