I went to turn my clock ahead this morning and I discovered it was already reading the correct time!

As I'm the only person with access to it I must have reset itself automatically. The only way I can think this could happen is when my iPhone connected by Bluetooth it also reset the time. Has or did this happened to anyone else? If it does reset the time through bluetooth and your phone it should also reset it while traveling across different time zones I would think - has anyone observed this?

There is a setting for the clock for sensing automatic time.

Can't recall the exact wording, just know I had to disable auto on my clock a long time ago. Mine gave the wrong time when on auto mode. It was probably an error on my part somewhere deep in the settings.

I had to manually advance mine this morning.

Does it have the date programmed into it?

Our 10yr old house thermostat would auto-switch for DST. Wasn't connected to anything, didn't sense anything, just had the current date set and went off calendar info.
