What all these vans need more, is rear end crash protection. A minor bump in the rear totals the van.

We need a big ass heavy duty truck like step bumper that can take a bump from a texting teen in a HONDA.

My van was slammed from behind that it collapsed the factory hitch and destroyed the bumper cover and sensor wiring.
Body shop had to adjust the hitch frame mounts and just bolted on the new hitch, harness bumper cover and sensors.
Maybe I was lucky that it was a direct hit on the center of the factory hitch.
