My sliding door is squeaking like a mouse in a glue trap. It's loud and almost non stop (cept for the smoothest of roads). Its unbearable. If anyone has any ideas how to get it to stop, I would be really grateful.
If it's the gasket that's squeaking against the paint, I would recommend a silicone based lubricant be applied to the gasket. Careful not to use a petroleum based product, it will eat the gasket. If it's the latches squeaking, they could be lubricated with aerosol spray lithium grease or a similar product. Haven't had any issues with my PM yet, but our old Pontiac Montana needed this treatment occasionally.
