I recall a @keeponvaning post where he mentioned the z clips looked weak, something like that.

Just an FYI for anyone using renogy z clip.

Yes, it's a good FYI. But it's not totally clear how the Z-clips failed in this case. If the mounting bolts pulled through the z-clips, who supplied the bolts and washers? Renogy or the owner? Were flat washers used? Were they too small? Etc. This type of Z-clip is not unique to Renogy and failures aren't that common. Which is why I suspect something else probably contributed.

I little bit more info coming, still probing.
So it appears the Z Clips didn't fail, I'm checking to see if the nut had a washer to spread out the load, hard to tell if there was even was a washer there.
