Sliding Door Handle Redesign
I've seen a few variations of the sliding door handle around and decided to create my ideal version. The handle scoops are deeper for better pulling ergonomics, and the additional leverage makes it easy for my kids (5 & 6) to open the door. I added a hanging hook for trash bags, keys, etc. The material is glass-reinforced nylon for ultimate durability, and the pivot point will be reinforced with a steel bearing, giving this a lifetime warranty.

Thats a cool solution! So you used the original handle, diagonally sliced off the top, then the wooden part straddles and completes the handle via epoxy?

Yes, a familiar idea for a known ProMaster weakness. Mine is injection molded glass reinforced nylon, which will be superior in surface quality and strength to 3D printed carbon fiber.
I also retain use of the stock fastener and incorporate a steel bearing at the pivot point, which will let me offer a lifetime warranty.

We have been using this handle for quite some time. Seems to be strong enough.
3/28 update. The preproduction samples have passed quality control! Glass-reinforced nylon & the steel bearing pivot means this thing is going be virtually indestructible for a lifetime warranty 💪
