For our people shower, we added a shower shut-off valve between the hose and shower head of this low-flow unit. You can buy longer hoses too.

I think flow rate could be a concern using a residential shower head in a van. We lucked upon the sink sprayer because the Helio used one and we transferred it to our present setup.

The head is just a slow flow. I have it attached to something like this

It is. That's why we chose a low-flow (1.5 gpm) model and added a shut-off valve that can also reduce flow. The full 1.5 gpm is usually more than we need and wasteful.

I second the oxygenics shower head. It's around 1.5 gpm with typical RV pressure but I find they let you get the soap off quickly and are pretty good for conserving water. I use a single handle valve like this to make it easy to get the temp right. The single valve also adds a small amount of cold water even on max hot which is nice when you have the heater set on 140!
