I'm looking for advice on how to secure my tank safely.

Any advice? Pictures are best for me..... Here is where it will be:

Cardboard is to protect floor etc...

Ratchet straps were recommended when I asked the same question. Straps and mounting brackets from the Home Depot and restiched by a local cobbler.

I used steel hanging strap from Home Depot. After this pic i added one more over the top side to side. I dont think that one really made a difference though.

A rim around it on the floor and a strong strap up higher should work just fine until the van flips upside down. But in that case, the tank would be the least of your worries anyway.

I used aluminum angle & 3/4” plywood (the plywood also was part of my bed structure & under bed cabinetry)

I have a great idea which way to go now.....

Well that is if I still think I need 23 gallons of water... I'm now debating which way to go with hot showers.... I saw this thing called Geyser and it uses little water... can be heated with 1lt of boiling water.. etc etc.... oh well a bit off topic

I had a cage welded up by a local welder.
