I'm guessing that you want to mount it parallel to the side wall of the van behind the driver seat. If so,

How about putting in two 2x4's from floor to ceiling attached at the floor and bolted to the center steel crossmember bar and bolted to the top steel crossmember. If you bolt them in at the same width as the shelf uprights, you could then use a number of zip ties, pipe straps, bungee cords or whatever to hold the shelf uprights solidly, and parallel to the 2x4's, from top to bottom. Easy to remove or update later... just remove or repurpose the 2x4's.

To avoid wood, look for "slotted angle." It's a heavy-duty steel angle with holes. Position it vertically so the uprights of your shelving nestle within. You will need spacers to accommodate the curve of the wall. Then you should be able to attach with brackets and bolts. I'll send you a photo of our fridge enclosure made with the stuff.
