Like one on top of another? You could stack them horizontally (so the pos and neg poles are facing sideways). Probably wouldn't be recommended by Renogy, but if you do it just make sure they can't bounce.

I messaged renogy with this exact question and they replied but they never gave me a straight answer. I ended up building a table-like structure above them and putting the inverter there, which gave me room for them to be side by side.

Not sure of your setup but if you can't put one on top of another, you could set 'em up side by side. They are almost exactly half as wide as they are long.

That's the usual, but I was suggesting that you put the two batteries next to each other sitting on their short end. That way there would not be a battery on top of a battery, and they would only use about the same footprint of a single battery.

Wherever you put them you’ll be happy with them . 2 100 AMP’s fit perfect over a wheel well.
