We just moved from VA to MD and need to get the van inspected to be registered here. The first place said they couldn’t handle it, which makes sense since it wouldn’t fit on a lift in their garage, and that I should go to a “truck place”. Does anyone have a recommendation for an inspection station in Maryland near DC that is equipped to handle full size vans. Even better if they’re used to DIY camper conversions! Thanks in advance!

How about an RV dealer? are any qualified as inspection stations?

I’m case it helps anyone else, I ended up using Gili’s Auto Service in North Bethesda. They seem to run a good operation and have the ability to inspect ~9,000 pound converted ProMasters.
