Hello everyone, long time reader, first time poster.

I've been looking for a used promaster for some time to be used for a simple camper conversion. I recently looked at a 2014 1500 high roof that was in quite good condition and is reasonably priced. However it has 190 000km ( 119000mi) on it. Is that something I should be worried about? What engine/drivetrain issues commonly come up beyond that point? Should I hold out for something with fewer miles on it?

... then it's down to price-point. Maintenance? Records? # of owners? IF the pricepoint is low enough, factor in cost of engine/transmission/strutbearing replacements and see where you are at vs. newer/lower km...

IMO: Depends what you want to do with it. If you intend to use as a cargo van or a very very basic conversion might be okay. If you plan a full conversion its not worth it to start with a higher miles vehicle like this since you essentially get less value out of the same conversion (cost and time).
