I read the thread, but maybe I missed it. Can the 22 gal tanks be installed so that the larger part of the reservoir/fittings face forward? I want as much 'garage' room as I can get between the rear doors and wheel well.

Yep there's nothing wrong with doing that. In this case you'd want the passenger tank for the drivers side or vice versa. Does that make sense?
