RD's post in the battery wire thread brought this to mind:

We are playing the Promaster Pinewood Derby. We start with the same "kit," but our final results are our own creations.

The difference is that there are no judges and we all win.

100 solutions or 1,000 solutions let us all get what we want for what we are willing to pay and consistent with our skills and values and then we go out and travel! I am just waiting to pull into a BLM site or even a Walmart and see another promaster homebuilt campervan! Won't that be exciting! We all WIN! Great thought!

:D Just wait til you pull into a campground and meet the folks who followed you there because they wanted a closer look.

Funny you used that term. Put a 60 degree chamfer on the end of the rectangular block that you get with a Pinewood Derby kit, radius the corners off just a bit, and you have a Promaster model.
Not saying it's a bad thing. That's why I like the Promaster styling the best. Embrace the box.
