Looking over the shore power thread and filling up for the first time on my new-to-me PM, it occurred to me that the spot for the DEF filler could be a sneak path inside without a wall penetration on a gas model.

I'm planning a water tank not far from that location, and I suppose there's a chance of gasoline getting into your water supply if you put a fill there-- I'm wondering if it might be good for something else, or if there's a way to mitigate any chance of contamination.

Power so close to gasoline doesn't sound like a good idea, but maybe coax for a TV or an outdoor shower outlet or something like that could work.

Thoughts?

DEF so close to diesel fuel is no difference. We deal with it, you could too. 110V shore power there, not such a good idea. Water fill, go nutz, label it WELL and make the cap distinctive like a hose coupling with a cap??
