Yes!

I was originally going to have them powdercoated but someone suggested plastidip. Cleaned the wheels, then plugged the holes from behind and sprayed. Plasti-dip won't stick to the tires so you just peel this off when done. We'll see how it holds up but even if it fails it was a $20 and 2 hour investment....

I have had a box of anthracite grey Plasti dip cans sitting here for the wheels since I got my Promaster. I won't do them until I get my new all terrain tires mounted.

No you don't do anything but clean the surface before plastidip.

It definitely will scuff off if/when you curb them but so would paint or powder coat. Much cheaper fix with Plastidip.
