Hi, my drive shift is stuck in Park and the key is also stuck as well. I was able to manually override the shifter being stuck but still can't figure out how to release the key. I took the panel off underneath and I keep reading there's a release tab but I don't see one. All I see is a small metal casing with a hole in it, but it doesn't move and I stuck a bobby pin in there and nothing is happening. See picture as well.

Already tried disconnecting the negative battery terminal and that doesn't release it. Thanks!

Well that makes sense why I couldn't find it, I don't have that. He said that's on the 2014-2018 models, maybe the 2019 doesn't have a manual release tab?

Yeah there is no tab anywhere unless it's further up in the column that would require me to take the whole thing apart. I tried to disconnect the battery and that didn't do anything.

Figured it out! It was much lower than the videos I watched.
