I don't think I have many (any?) pictures of the retrofit process, so I'm not sure how beneficial a write-up would be. It was my first time doing a retrofit and I wasn't sure of the clearance inside the housing, so I went with a Morimoto Mini H1. I think the D2S would be fine though and would probably use that if I did it again. The hardest part was removing the OEM adhesive from the housings, and cutting the shrouds to fit the odd angles of the headlight. A mini gatlin gun shroud would probably fit with no mods, but I didn't like the looks of it. It was too small and looked out of place to me. I used a Bullet shroud instead, and wasted two of them before I figured out the best way to trim them to fit. I didn't need any relays or CAN adapters. The 35w ballasts worked fine with the factory connections.

Good to know...thanks for the info. What method did you use to get the lens cover off? Oven?
