Anyone have any issues with the oil filter plug/ cap? Usually I can get it loose with a wrench, but not today. I had to take the vice grips to it and pretty much ruined it! Any suggestions or comments?

There have been lots of posts on the subject including a very detailed one by me a few months back. The search function should bring them up. Looks like you will have to order a new cap or possibly the caps are all the same and you can find one in a junkyard.

Ive never had an issue with mine.
I alwaus use a box end short wrench on it,
And also, oil up the 0-ring before installing it back in there.

Also, push down on it as you turn it.

Auto zone sells a universal that may fit. I looked up a 2014 promaster 3.6l gas and this is what came up. Oil the o-ring and tighten to 18 ft lbs or 25 n-m
