Nylon Wall Panels: How thick is the factory paneling, is it ABS, can I glue to them?

I'm assuming it's ABS, 3/32", but I wanted a second opinion :)

I already have the lowers covered, was planning to cover the uppers and the ceiling with a similar nylon sheeting.

Once I get the patterns cut out I was planning to glue sheets of headliner or carpet. Any idea what glue will be the best and if I need to do any prep to the sheets.

Any thoughts on finishing the edges if I use carpet?

I'm going to use the factory styled push pins to secure the panels.

Sheets of poly fill for the insulation.

Neoprene rubber matting glued to the walls for dampening.

Nurse Ben,

The thickness is correct. I would reckoment using 1/4" plywood, and marine carpet. Cut your shape out of the plywood, then use spray glue such as 3M 90 to attach the carpet and the wrap about 3 inches around on to the back of the plywood and staple along the 3 inch overlap then apply weight to it for 5 minutes for the glue to go off... this makes for a very nice finish while making it homely.
