Road bikes were my main form of transportation from when I was 15 until my wife became pregnant for the first time and I retired my last one. It still sits beside my house not running. I had too many friends that were either dead or walked funny. I took up mountain bikes instead. More adrenaline less danger.

In 1965 I was the Fonz

Wait I only have one that doesn’t run. I feel left out now!
Skaggy 305 Honda Dream? I took 20years off from riding beginning when our kids were born When I returned riding at 42 I was amazed at how everything had changed and how I no longer believed I could not be hurt.

Yes sir , watching the bikes fade away in the back of someone else's truck is the worst. Great times on the old XT 250. Best was with my daughter on the back exploring remote Cali. The SR 500 was rough too, but just wasn't riding it.
But ... the PM is getting a lot more anchor points than the old E .

Yup. Second most reliable bike I've owned. You can't beat a Honda.
In 1967 I got my first Harley. My friends rode choppers and when the girls seen my dresser they'd say
"Why don't you have a Harley?"

I resemble that sticker, but at least for the ten that don't run (projects) I have another 10 or so that do :)
