Front wheel drive is an advantage.

I agree with sidecarnutz. My gas PM (159 WB) is far better handling than the 2 Sprinters I have owned. Front wheel drive, the responsive tranny, and the tight turning radius are the key features in my opinion.

Nothing squirrelly at 80mph with 65mph cross-wind. That's saying something about how it handles.

Worst thing about the FWD is that it makes you want to go fast because it is so much fun.

I might add that this winter I had only one chance to drive my PM in snow. It was only a couple of inches but the front wheel drive PM handled as well my FWD Ford Escape. My Sprinters did not handle well in snow.
