Don't expect the smaller roof units to be noticeably quieter. Do expect them to be less able to keep a van comfy when over 90F even with partial shade.

People seem to really like the Rec Pro houghton for it’s quietness and they’re not nearly as big looking at those Coleman’s coming on the Solis models

One of my neighbors has one of those, purchased a few years ago.

For them it is a great way to take the kids to go places and have a bathroom along, have some cold or warm drinks and food.

You would be surprised at how many vans were sold during the pandemic so that people could have a way to go to he bathroom even just on the way to work. (the restaurants and gas station bathrooms closed for a long time )

They gave me a quick tour a while ago - seemed just fine for what they were doing with it. More or less a way to get the kids out of the house.

I installed a Polar Cub on my whale & summers in the south have been no problem. I agree, they are all loud.
