Greetings,

I'm in the market for a wheelchair van that is able to facilitate 2 power chairs. Leaning toward the PM mostly since I can install a spring loaded ramp (in back) instead of a lift. This will not only save several thousand on install, but no worries about having to jiggle some wire while it's raining before the lift makes good contact and engages.

Also hoping to get better fuel economy over a Transit or Sprinter (crossing fingers)

Really want a 2015 diesel 159"WB Window van that is not white in color. However, currently in negotiations for a new 2014 159WB white cargo van if the price is right (Dealer is down to 33.5k atm)

Greets Jefe!

That might be a rare beast. You (or someone) may have to really hunt for that in non-white. Check out the "Any real mpg #'s yet?" thread and "new PM diesel catalyst efficiency issue" thread here - you can't miss 'em. Check the latter especially if you're looking at 2014 Diesels. It is of course one of those "your mileage may vary" things. But at least you'll be better informed when you sign that dotted line.

Good luck - these ProMasters have several clear advantages on top of better fuel economy.

Jefe, wondering if you've gotten the Promaster with spring loaded ramp. Looking at doing the same and curious if you have pictures to share.
