When scheduled, dealer is given build date.
What is dealer saying build date is? Add 5-6 weeks to build date for delivery.
When scheduled, dealer is given build date.February 16th- scheduled
I ordered mine in September and it’s only at scheduled on the factory page…Can I ask when you ordered ? (Mine was 10 Oct. ish) Called the dealer last week & spoke to the fleet manager, they were expecting a nationwide conference call at the beginning of this week. And So he’s supposed to update me presently but I’ll probably have to initiate a call tomorrow .
Ordered 7/7Bigphotog, you are not alone! I ordered August 13, got order confirmed December 13 and here I am waiting! Maybe I'll have it ready to go in 2024?![]()
Got swivels in mine and mine got delivered early Feb, but my order was placed in JuneOrdered 7/7
Confirmed 1/13
Scheduled 2/16
Spoke to dealer, build is scheduled for mid May.
I think swivel seats delayed my build.
You can monitor and keep an eye but it depends on needs. It’s plausible yours is built in the next 2 months but alot of it comes down to options. Stuff like the ACC and 360 cameras will hold them up.Do you all think it's time to maybe start looking on the lots for a van? Or stay the course and can't waiting.
even thing like windows can slow down because it’s more “work” over bare shells.I was advised to steer clear of both of those. It would be nice to know what is causing the hang up. Who knows![]()
That’s what we did, we ordered exactly what we wanted and then kept a look out for a better deal on a van sitting on a dealer lot. It all depends on how much free time you have to mess with it and how bad you want a van!Do you all think it's time to maybe start looking on the lots for a van? Or stay the course and can't waiting.
The situation is the same here on the East coast. The dealers I contacted that were sticking to MSRP or higher are now all calling 3 months later and offering $2-4k under MSRP on the same vans. Some dealers didn’t read the memo and order the free but optional passenger seat, those vans are heavily discounted along with the ones that are missing cruise control.I spent about a month using the Ram website, shop online nationwide search feature and then calling each dealership to get exact stock. The van I wanted (2500, 159", Granite, 10" display, LED headlights) was available at 6 dealers. Three were marked up $5-10K. The dealer I ended up buying it from had it marked up 3K, but we settled on $500 over MSRP. If I was willing to go with the smaller display and halogen headlights, but still in grey, it was available at 21 dealers. Most dealers I spoke with were willing to sell below MSRP for less equipped models. I was getting offers of $1000-$3000 under MSRP in the midwest.
