After 3 and a half months I may tell Dodge to keep it. I ordered a PM back on 11/13, and was told 6 to 8 weeks. On 1/10 I got the VOTS email from Dodge saying how they would be starting my PM within the next two weeks, but then nothing else showed up. So on 1/27 I contacted the dealer to find out where it was and got a 3/27 delivery date. I wasn't happy, but at least I now had a date. Great! So now its the end of February and still nothing from that whole VOTS thing, so I emailed Dodge. The answer I got made my blood boil. They tell me that the PM I ordered on 11/13 was not ordered until 1/8 and could not have been ordered until then because they were not set up to take orders for the 118" wheelbase until then. Then went on to say that the PM's with this wheel base would not be built until April. WTF? I contacted the dealer and told him that the deal was off and I don't like being bull S#$tted , send my down payment back. He assures me that his Dodge rep says it will be here on 3/27. I told him thats fine, but if its not, I want my money back.
I then emailed Dodge back and told them that it would be real nice if there left hand knew what their right hand was doing. I also brought to their attention that I used the 'build your vehicle" feature on the PM web page back in October and the only thing that was not available was the diesel. And, If it said that the 118" wheel base would not be available until January I would have ordered the next size up. To me, selling anything that you are not even making yet is false advertising.
Anyway, the dealer is suppose to get back to me again on Monday. I'll know then if I will be driving a PM or not.
