Glad to find this forum! I’m looking to buy a Promaster City to convert into a 3-season camper (I’ll probably purchase a Wayfarer conversion kit: https://wayfarervans.com/complete-kit/).

A couple of questions:

- Are the SLT seats better than those in the base model?
- Do rear vent windows provide good overnight ventilation, or should I get side windows as well.
- is the factory roof rack and crossbar setup the best alternative for carrying a couple of bicycles or a ski box?

Hello all!
I purchased a short/short Promaster 1500 back in April ... I bought a new (yellow!) one in Nashville, drove it 2500 miles home to Portland Oregon. 'Why' you ask? I wanted a non-white van, and didn't have the patience to order. My purpose: a minimal 'someplace to sleep' camper ... sort of a reaction to my hobby/business at WWW dot BASE4X4 dot COM ... check it out! And glad to meet you all!

Better choice IMHO than the PMC. Still those short/short vans make us wonder. WHY? Yellow I understand.
