I retire next year and I've decided that I'm going to spend the first months (maybe years) traveling North America. I want to do this in my own van conversion and have been researching the various options. For many reasons, I've decided on the Ram Promaster.


I'm in the shopping phase and can't decide whether to go with the 159 High Roof. I'm looking forward to learning from all of you that have come before!

You're in the same place I was earlier this year. Get the 159 High Roof, you won't regret it. Being able to stand up and having the space to build is well worth it. This forum is one of the best resources for ideas and learned experiences on the web for DIY camper conversions. Enjoy!!

Def go with 159WB with HR. Just got my last week and ready for my projects: 2nd roll seats (Sprinter seats) ready to go in. MaxxAir fan, motion windows, still researching for 2nd house battery then floor and insulation ceiling/ side walls with boards. They’re going to be long and learning projects
