Just a heads up to anyone who had this same issue. My left headlight stopped working after a breach in the plastic housing developed causing water to build up inside. A dealer in Beaverton, OR fixed the problem under the warranty without any hassle.

Did the dealer indicate that it's a problem that has been cured with an improved light or anything like that?
Mine goes in the shop on Tuesday. One of the issues is a leaky and non-functioning headlight (new bulbs don't work either). It's beyond the 36K mile warranty but supposedly the used dealer is going to pay for it. Hopefully they don't try to back out.
There's a dealership mechanic on YouTube that has a video on how to take the headlight out. I messaged him and asked him the best solution to fix the leaking headlights. He said at their shop they drill a hole at the lowest point so the water can drain out. I had mine out looking at it, lots of places for water ingress.
