My front right headlight has a leak that has continued to collect more and more moisture. My headlamp finally went out, and I am wondering weather I should just expect to replace the whole assembly. I haven't gotten into it to check it out, but this isn't the first leak issue I've had since owning it. I bought it used so I'm not looking for warranty advice. Has anyone had a similar issue with a leaking headlamp? Any advice on how to fix it? Thanks.

I'm putting a couple image links to show you the difference between my two headlights, as you can see, it is pretty bad.

I've got the same thing. Both headlights get condensation in them after it rains and also winter time. One has been replaced just a few years ago. I think it's a mfr defect. Should be a recall on them.

I have just taken my headlight unit out to see why it is leaking and I can see that the moisture is sitting on the cover for one of the bulbs. The cover has an "o" ring to keep out the moisture but it hasn't worked. I will call my dealer in the morning to see if it is covered. Doubt it since they will say I didn't tighten it properly when I replaced the bulb. Its just bad design since the water actually drains onto the light unit and sits on the cover. I would like to bring it inside to dry it out. Does anyone know how to disconnect the wire harness from the unit. Seems to be a trick and I'd rather not break it.
