I stopped to get fuel and I had 2 gallons left based on the 22 gallons to fill up. Here in Michigan it's cold and I don't stand guard like I should while filling my tank, I sit in the cab and watch my gauge climb. I sat there for a few minutes and seen nothing register on the gauge then the pump shut off at 22 gallons and showed 1/8 tank. I drove home and not much higher but some. Today I drove out and it didn't get to a full tank in less than a half hour of driving.

I don't imagine anyone has had this happen to them? it wasn't that cold but in the 20's. Dealer said "I have never heard of this before" I wonder if the fuel gauge is digital or mechanical, my guess is mechanical.

Oh, only 14500 miles on the rig.

I know when I fill up while leaving the van run the gauge doesn't move up at the same rate as I fill. Sometimes I have to turn if off and then it resets to correct level. I don't like to shut off the van when it's below 0° F. Todd
