Hi all!

Since there was some interest and questions on my introductory thread I decided to open one here to present my conversion and answer your questions.

It is based on Promaster older cousin Fiat Ducato (Citroen Jumper and Peugeot Boxer are different brands of almost the same van here in EU with different engines - might help you if you are searching for conversion ideas since here in EU there are many conversions based on those French brands since they are a bit cheaper than Italian Ducato)

I have realized that I can't financially justify full campervan conversion, so I created a compromise. I can use the van to move simulators for my small bussiness of simulator rental http://superauti.com and also easily use the van as a campervan. If needed, all camper furniture can be unbolted and van can be used as regular full size van. I have decided to keep a blog http://flexicampervan.drupalgardens.com about conversion and some travels.
Here is a list of initial requirements.

@proeddie
Since you asked about the curtain track/pole, I used curtain rail available at local Home Depot equivalent. It was somewhat flexible and I drilled the holes in it and bolted it to existing bolt holes of the bulkhead that I removed.

@GuyT
Windsurfing equipment fits under the bed. I have one board and 3 sails. We were able to fit even more. It is a bit cramped in that case, but ...

This one was at the beginning of a conversion during first trip.
I was even able to put in bicycles. :)
