However one of the main problems is the low clearance from the ground. The 4 x 4 for snowy roads is welcome, but I have been using my promaster here in Canada with snow and on a dirt road with winter tires and the front wheel drive traction is fenomenal. I'm glad I didn't go for the Sprinter.
For off-road driving the Ducato is way too low.
